Making sure your Maps are working
To check to see if your newly installed mappacks are working start the game and go to HOST and then MAPS .You should see the new maps in your map selection area on the left .

Castaway MapPack Installation Instructions
A readme file is included but basically, unzip to your AVP2 folder/directory or a folder of your choice if in a differant folder then you will need to copy the un-zipped Ca.rez file to your AVP2 folder/directory and then you will need open AvP2 Launcher and go to options. Then add -rez CA.rez to the command line. BAM!! You should be good to go now . for checking to see if the map is working you can go to HOST and then MAPS you should see the new maps in your map selection .

Custom MapPack4 Installation Instructions
You will need win rar to un-zip this file once un-zipped .
Place the "Maps" folder in your avp2 folder.
launch avp2 and go into Options tab
Click the box "always specify these commands"
Command line is: -rez maps


Custom MapPack4 Up-Date Installation Instructions
1. Open the rar file.
2. Open folder cmp4u.
3. Click on a folder of one map type e.g. (DM) then say "extract to" and extract all files to:
c:\program files\fox\avp2\cmp4\worlds\multi\DM\ - (or wherever your default folder is)
4. Repeat step 3. with evac and overrun only unzip the files in their corresponding folders under the folder as shown above.
5. If done correctly, this should work straight off, no need to modify the command line.

Community MapPack Installation Instructions
Extract / un-zip Community_Map_Pack.zip to your AVP2 folder/directory or a folder of your choice if in a differant folder then you will need to copy the un-zipped MapPack.rez file to your AVP2 folder/directory and then you will need open AvP2 Launcher and go to options. Then add -rez MapPack.rez to the command line.. Open AvP2 Launcher and go to options. Add -rez MapPack.rez to the command line.
